Review:  June 24, 2003, the Chinese Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization in Beijing held a press conference to announce the lifting of travel advisory against Beijing, and removed Beijing from "atypical pneumonia" from the list of infected areas. To warmly congratulated China on the fight against "SARS" to achieve a decisive victory - ACPAA launched a grand "Sharing weal and woe, united as one" large-scale variety show.

Through the whole evening has shown how China has been able to go through two previous moments of crisis and proved the country's strong national cohesion, national self-confidence and sense of national pride. The opening poem recitation brought people's thoughts back to the suffering of the vast land of China: a 'SARS' epidemic..., a torrential flood in China. The show continued with colorful performances: "Hi, Beijing"; "Best wishes"; "China's Land"; "Ode to Beijing".  Chinese Embassy in Australia's dozens of Counselor, Secretary of the staff dressed in national costumes performing "I love China" song put to the whole evening to a climax, fully expressed the spirit of solidarity of the Chinese nation.

In the warm applause, the ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Australia Mr. Wu Tao delivered a stirring speech: "I participate in this event with unprecedented excitement and happiness! 2003 towards the Chinese nation is an extraordinary year, 'Atypical pneumonia' has just passed, and the floods came, the Chinese nation has gone through great suffering. 'Atypical pneumonia' deeply touched the hearts of overseas Chinese and we have seen many suggestions and donations to resist ' SARS '. All-round victory over China' atypical pneumonia ' has fully proved that after more than 20 years of reform and opening up, China's national strength is enough to overcome any difficulties and obstacles. "Ambassador Wu Tao's speech, won thunderous applause from the audience. The whole audience rose to sing "Song of the motherland".               Video Trailler
