In February 2004, Chinese seniors of the “China Seniors Art Troupe" visited Australia. In Sydney, ACPAA in cooperation with numerous community organizations has organized a series of cultural activities. The "Red Maple Leaf Art Troupe" has also been set up on behalf of the Australian Chinese Performing Artists’ Association to perform on the stage in Sydney. More than 60 elder Chinese artists has lined-up to perform in a warm atmosphere, one climax after another. At the end of the show, Ambassador for the People’s Republic of China Mr.Zhang Jun Song, Consul-General in Sydney of the People’s Republic of China Mr.Liao Zhihong, cultural and consular Li Jinsheng, chairman of the Beijing Tong Yang Yun-exhibition Service Company Mr.Xiao Zhu, Chaiman of the ACPAA Mr. Yujun Wu and many other overseas Chinese leaders and guests have came to stage to congratulate the success of the performance.
