Description: ‘New century 99 ABA Concert Sydney’ is the New Year Grand Cultural Variety Concert organized by Chinese migrants in Australia. It was held in the world-famous Sydney Opera House to celebrate the new century and the Chinese New Year- The year of the Rabbit. The large-scale performance was divided into 5 parts: 1.Introduction; 2. Movement [Amazing land], 3.Movement [Sweat of hard-working], 4. Movement [The harvest season] and part 5: [The New Century]. The show was constructed with the participations of vocal actors, Australian Children Art Troupe, indigenous culture group, grant orchestra, women’s guards of honors, etc. ‘New Century’ , which through songs and dances provides a glimpse of Chinese immigration history and their marching to the next century with great hope.
