Culture is the embodiment and origin of a nation. Thanks to the cultural cohesion, the overseas descendants of the Chinese nation though thousands miles away from the motherland can still feel the warmth of love from the motherland. "Away from home" is the first large-scale Chinese New Year Festival held by Australian Chinese Performing Artists’ Association, which has attracted many Chinese students to participate to produce a rich and varied performance so that overseas students in the Chinese New Year Night may feel the warmth of the motherland.
