Sydney artists help fundraising in the benefit performance

On 10th February Sydney Granville RSL Club Theatre was bustling with noise and excitement. Having just performed in the Chinese New Year Parade, artists from different artists associations in Sydney put on yet another amazing performance in the ‘Heart To Heart Benefit Performance’ hosted by the Australian Chinese Performing Artist Association(ACPAA). The Chinese Consulate General in Sydney Mr. Qiu Shao Fang, Mrs. Qiu and Consulate Mr. Li Jia attended the event. With the company of the President of ACPAA, Mr. Yu Jun Wu and Honorary President Mr. Qian Qi Guo, Mr. Qiu addressed the guests. He said ‘Please have faith that with the leadership of the Chinese Government, the snow will melt and the dawn will come!’ Mr. Qiu then sang the famous song . The performance ended in standing ovation when he stressed ‘The snow is cold but our mountain-high and ocean-wide love is warm’.
