The Chinese Folk Song 2010 “Zenger cup” JIangxi TV Station
A press conference promoting the Chinese Folk Song “Zenger Cup” Competition 2010 Jiangxi TV Station competition was held in a Chinatown restaurant in Sydney on the 15th May, 2010.
The competition was organized by Jiangxi TV network with the support of Chinese associations in Australia. Zenger Cup was presented by the Australian Chinese Performing Artist’s Association (ACPAA), in conjunction with the JiangXi Association of Australia. The event was sponsored by Zenger.
Chinese Folk Song Performances have been hosted over the past four years with a great deal of success. This program has attracted various individuals from different age groups in China since 2006, and for the first time a part of the competition has been organized in Australia. Presented by the Australian Chinese Performing Artists' Association (ACPAA), this competition in Australia contains four segments before continuing to the final stage in China;

Applications begin on the 15th May 2010 and end on the 31st May 2010. Register by telephone, fax, email or apply online. The opening rounds of the competition will be held on the 5th June 2010 to the 6th June 2010. Auditions are held in Sydney, and 35 winners of this round will advance to the next round.
The semi finals will take place on the 12th June 2010. 15 out of 35 competitors will be chosen to advance to the finals. The final stage take place on the 26th June, 2010. A gala event will be organized by ACPAA, and 6 winners will be chosen from 15 competitors. The top 3 contestants will be sent to China to appear on Jiangxi TV for the competition's grand final.
The competition will be held simultaneously in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra and Auckland. All participants of the competition will receive a certificate of merit, and participants who made reached the eliminations will receive a certificate of distinction.
