More than 300 renowned Chinese artists with a hundredmember symphony orchestra, dance groups and more than 200 Australian born Chinese performed together, the Jiangsu Television Station broadcast, the event had a remarkable success. The Xinhai Revolution of October 10, 1911 was instrumental in overthrowing the feudalistic government of the Qing Dynasty; destroying absolute monarchy and influencing generations of Chinese around the world. In the year of 1911,
it began with the Wuhan Uprising and ended with the abdication of Emperor of Puyi. The Xinhai Revolution, has overthrown the feudalistic government of Qing dynasty and destroyed the absolute monarchy. This year marks the Centennial remembrance of the Revolution, and in commemoration the Australian Chinese Performing Artists’ Association
