Southern Star Dance School in Sydney
Founded in 2002, is an art school with the performance characteristics of Chinese folk dance. Principal, Mei 1970, studied at the Guangdong Dance School, learning ballet professional and Chinese ethnic folk dance professional, stayed on to teach after graduation. Studied at the Beijing Dance Academy in 1977, majoring in dance instruction. Liang has repeatedly led the students to participate in the "Tao Li Cup Competition jointly organized by the Chinese professional dance academies, and was awarded the outstanding Gardener Award issued by the Chinese Ministry of Culture.
School curriculum by the Principal, Mei month, and Vice-Chancellor Xu Suosha personally design and arrangement, based mainly in the British Royal Ballet teaching materials, to inherit and carry forward the Chinese culture, the course also combine the characteristics of the Chinese Folk Dance to arrange basic training.
The purpose is to train the student body, temperament and performance skills. School according to different age groups (aged 4 -18 years old) student characteristics, namely the design and layout of the Mongolian dance ("the happy herders"), Xinjiang dance (youth dance), Korean dance ("Jewel in the Palace" ), Han dance ("back home", "Red Silk Dance"), a number of programs to participate in social performance, and widely welcomed by the masses. The same time, the school also has the British Royal Ballet Grading courses to meet the needs of different students.
